Addressing guests and awardees at the fourth edition of the event which held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, the Chief Executive Officer, NHA, Mr Festus Adebayo, described the ceremony as ‘a testament to how much we can manage to thrive even in the face of strong challenges’.
He noted that despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the real estate practitioners have continued to stand their ground and fought together.
Adebayo stated, “This idea of sticking together and ensuring that progress happens is what the Nigeria Housing Awards stands for.
“On a personal note, this year’s event is very important because it represents our collective ambition, resolve and patience.
“As known to many, the Nigeria Housing Awards is all about the recognition and promotion of excellence, hard work and determination. We always look out for these traits and appreciate them.”
Adebayo explained that the goal of the awards was to encourage and support the production of mass affordable housing for Nigerians who needed them the most.
The NHA boss further said the awards was also a call to action, adding that it was meant to charge stakeholders to always ensure due diligence, maintain standards and be ethical.
