Court sacks Eze Iheanyi William, Rivers monarch from stool
A High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has sacked a monarch in Rivers State, Eze Iheanyi William, for illegally been installed and recognised by the state government.

Eze William is the Paramount Ruler of Ubima community in Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state

The presiding judge, Justice P. C. Igwe, in his in a matter brought by the claimant, Eze Michael Dikewoha, ruled that the monarch was illegally installed and recognised by the state government.

Justice Igwe slammed the Rivers State Government for issuing certificate of office and recognition when the matter was a subject of the court.

He also dismissed the claims of the claimant, Eze Dikewoha and Christopher Okah, who is third defendant and Omuobunwo family, who are forth to seventh defendants in the suit and seeking declaration of the court to become the Paramount Ruler of the community. The judge, ordered that the three families of Omuahiaume, Omuahua, and Omuobunwo should nominate a suitable candidate.
