The Chief Judge of Delta State, Hon. Justice Marshal Umukoro, has directed the High Court of Justice in the state to proceed on Christmas Recess from Thursday, December 24, 2020, to Friday, January 1, 2021.

A statement by the chief judge said that High Court in the state would resume sittings on Monday, January 4, 2021.

He further directed that the Easter recess should run from Friday, April 2, 2021, to Friday, April 9, 2021, while sittings of the court would resume on Monday, April 12, 2021.

The statement advised litigants, legal practitioners, stakeholders in the administration of justice, staff of the High Court of Delta State and the public to take note of the development and comply accordingly.
