Lagos CP, Odumosu discusses security with area commanders
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has met with the 14 area commanders in the state to discuss the security network with a view to protecting lives and property.

The CP also said on Wednesday that plans were in place to harness available resources to improve on the policing structure in the state.

Odumosu was quoted in a statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, to have stated this when the Manager of the Nigerian Postal Service, Lagos Zone, Dr Mike Umo, paid him a courtesy visit.

The statement read in part, “The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, Hakeem Odumosu, has set in motion mechanisms to harness all available resources to solidify policing structure in Lagos State.

“While assuring the zonal manager of NIPOST and his entourage of adequate security for their facilities across the 13 districts of NIPOST in Lagos, Odumosu promised to embrace their plans and other relevant ideologies that would promote robust intelligence-led and effective policing of Lagos State.”
