Nigeria on Monday confirmed five new cases of coronavirus, bringing the number of those who tested positive to the virus in the country to 35.

“Five new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria: 2 in FCT, 2 in Lagos & 1 in Edo,” the country’s centre for disease control said on Twitter.

“2 cases are returning travellers from the UK,” it added.
