The President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab  Bulkachuwa, has constituted the Kogi State Election Petitions Tribunal.

This was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday in Lokoja by the appellate court secretary, Umar Abubakar.

Abubakar said the mandate of the tribunal was to hear and determine petitions that might arise from the outcome of the November 16 governorship, Kogi West Senatorial rerun and the Ajaokuta Federal Constituency supplementary election.

The release stated that the registry and secretariat of the tribunal would be located at the FCT High Court, Wuse Zone 2, Abuja.

He urged those wishing to file election petitions or want further inquiry to contact the tribunal.

However, the statement was silent on the membership of the tribunal.
