The Osun State judiciary and the state police command, on Tuesday, agreed to work in harmony to ensure fast dispensation of justice.

While receiving the Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Ige, in her office, the state’s Chief Judge, Justice Adepele Ojo, said the judiciary in the state and the police command had been having a robust working relationship.

The chief judge said the police and the judicial officials were brothers, who must work in harmony, and gave an assurance that the judiciary under her watch would always collaborate with the law enforcement agents to ensure fast dispensation of justice.

“Osun State is peaceful. The residents of the state are hospitable. The police and the judiciary officials are brothers. “We must work together to ensure that the state remains peaceful,” Ojo said.

Responding, Ige, who was accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations, Mufutau Abu; Deputy Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department, Adebola Hamsat; and Area Commander, Osogbo, Katare Isa, commended the CJ’s friendly disposition.

She promised that the command would continue to relate well with the judiciary.
