Senate president Bukola Saraki has also lost the Ilorin East local government to All Progressives Congress in the senatorial battle.

According to the electoral commission collation officer, Prof Muftau Ijaya of UNILORIN, APC polled 30014 while PDP polled 14654 in the local government area.

Two other local government will determine the final winner.

So far, Yahaya Oloriegbe of the APC has defeated Saraki in two out of the four local government areas in the sanatorial district.
