The presidential candidate of Nigeria’s opposition party, People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, defeated the incumbent president Muhammadu Buhari at one of the polling units inside the presidential villa, Abuja.

While the PDP candidate polled 84 votes, Buhari scored 73.

Buhari defeated Atiku at the PDP candidate’s polling unit in Adamawa while Buhari won his polling unit by a landslide.
