The Kwara State governor Ahmed Abdulfatah Tuesday announced his defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
This is coming after Senate President Bukola Saraki announced his resignation from the APC.
“Following due consultations and in response to calls by major stakeholders in the state, I have moved to the PDP because the APC can longer serve as a platform for achieving the aspirations and expectations of my people,” Abdulfatah said.
