The Federal High Court in Ibadan Judicial Division in Oyo State on Wednesday ordered that the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission to use the wards created by the Independent National Electoral Commission (NEC) in the conduct of the planned Oyo State local government election which was scheduled for May 12.

The court ruling was based on a suit instituted by concerned people of Ibarapa area of the state challenging the use of wards created by OYSIEC for the election.
