Stephanie Coker’s Husband Arrested For Fraud
A property developer husband, Olumide Aderinokun, husband of on-air personality Stephanie Coker has been arrested and arraigned on an eight-count charge before Igbosere Magistrate Covert alongside Balogun Adeniyi Abdul-Wakil, a staff of the New Town Development Authority (NTDA) for alleged conspiracy, forgery and for selling a land deceptively.

In one of the charges read against him, Aderinokun allegedly “converted a piece of land … situated at Plot 7B, Block CBD.1, Lekki Peninsula Scheme 1, Eti Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State, property of Ocean Trust Limited” for his use. Meanwhile, the land originally belongs to Mr and Mrs Ben Oyekunle.

Also, sometime around February 2016, Aderinokan allegedly connived with who some people who have absconded to collect the sum of N18 million from one Mrs Jumoke Fola-Alade claiming to be the owner of the property.

In another count charge, Aderinokun and Abdul-Wakil and the others allegedly forged a Deed of Assignment document and submitted it for registration at the Lagos State Land Registry, Alausa, Ikeja around the 3rd of March, 2012.

They both pleaded not guilty to the charges. The magistrate, Oshin said both parties be remanded in Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison until they meet the bail conditions of N10 million naira each, submission of their international passports and two sureties.

Olumide is the brother of Guaranty Trust Bank [GTB]’s late founder, Tayo Adenirokun. His wedding to Stephanie Coker was one of the most talked about wedding this year.


The case has been adjourned to the February 2, 2018
