Money doubling fraudster arrested for scamming victim of N.4m in Ogun
Fraudster nabbed for defrauding victim of N.4m
The Ogun State Police Command of the Nigeria Police Service disclosed that the command has arrested, caught a suspected money doubling fraudster, Bidemi Idowu, for allegedly defrauding one Habeeb Amosun of N400,000 in the state.

It was gathered that the suspect was said to have promised to prepare a gargantuan money-doubling charm for the victim, Amosun.

The suspect reportedly gave a concoction to the victim to drink, which made him to develop a serious stomach disorder.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said trouble started for Idowu when Habeeb’s father reported the case at the Imeko Police Division.

Oyeyemi said the Divisional Police Officer at Imeko, Ajose Muhammed, detailed detectives to arrest the suspect with a search warrant to search his house.

He said, “On searching the house of the suspect, N400,000 allegedly collected from the victim was recovered.

“Also recovered were 59 pieces of fake 1,000 CFA, one piece of $50, 600 pieces of fake N1,000 notes and charms.

“The Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, has directed that the suspect be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.”

Oyeyemi appealed to parents to educate their children to desist from quest for quick money.
