Rising from a two-day retreat in Lagos, President of the group, Mr. Abubakar Yesufu said the discovery of the fraud allegedly perpetrated by the ex-Chairman of Pension Task Force, Alhaji Abdulrasheed Maina was an act of courage on the part of the commission. It further lauded the leadership of the commission for demanding justice on the Maina saga.

He said: “But for the prompt disclosure that the fugitive Maina is still on its wanted list, the culprit would still have been enjoying the perquisites of office. The league believes that this is a display of rare courage and determination.

‘’If there exists any doubting Thomas or cynic on why our support for the commission remains undiminished, such cynics should by this principled stand have a rethink.’’
